Web Developer for Market Development Facility Website

About Market Development Facility (MDF)
At MDF, our teams work with businesses, associations and governments in Asia Pacific to help farmers and workers thrive. We use a market systems (MSD) approach to achieve long-term, lasting growth and create sustainable jobs for poor women and men.

Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) is central to our work on the ground, and our teams in Fiji, Timor-Leste, Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka and Pakistan are dedicated to ensuring that our activities benefit women and girls.
MDF is funded by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). It is implemented by Palladium in partnership with Swisscontact.

Project Objectives
Communications at MDF is led by Communications Specialists within each country of operation, supported and guided by the Communications Director.
As the Facility’s second phase of operation picks up pace, the Facility’s website requires updating in order to better represent the team’s work across its countries. Additionally, as MDF is undergoing a review of its branding, the website will need to be altered in order to align with new branding guidelines and styles.

As such, we are looking for a web developer with the necessary graphic design, function and coding skills to create a new website from scratch. A central part of this project is the building of the wireframe and ensuring that it aligns with the Facility’s branding, and the Communications Team’s visual communications needs.
